GftW Call for Proposal notifications going out today

It’s an exciting day – we are/have notified all of our Call for Proposals applicants on the status of their proposals!

If you applied to our first CFP via Submittable, you will be notified via that platform with the decisions and next steps.

As soon as award contracts are signed, we’ll be sharing more details about our successful grantees! Over the coming weeks and months, we will also have updates about upcoming Call for Proposals and activities for our growing community. Signing up for our email lists is the fastest way to stay informed.

Thank you again to all who applied. We know that these ideas, the fund and our program are still new and we are building this as we go. That means there have been and will be bumps all along the way. We appreciate your patience and everyone’s growing excitement about being part of this movement and community.

We are also asking that people refrain from talking publically about the individual decisions, as we have a plan for announcements and the next steps for the work.

Please let us know if you have any questions and congrats to all those that are successful in this first round.

Senior Manager, Grant for the Web

Can’t wait to see the projects coming out of the first CFP! I hope at least a few will be gamedev-related

Any update about the selections?
I had submitted a proposal via submittable but unable to find my application anywhere on my account. Not sure if it went through.
Thank you.

The Spark level grantees were announced on September 29th, and I believe the Mid-level ones should be out really soon. You should’ve got a reply one way or the other - make sure you checked your spam folder.

All communications have gone out. Do you have the email and name you used to apply? We can check on our side, but if you aren’t seeing it on your Submittable account it may not have been submitted.

Hi Chris
I’ve tried contacting several times about this.

Can you please check?
Thank you.

@amit.lzkpa Unfortunately there is no record of a proposal under your name. It appears as though it was not submitted. Grant for the Web intends to run other open calls for proposals in the future so hopefully you will have another opportunity to apply.
